Growing up and competing nationwide in Ballroom and Latin dance, I found a love for Fashion design. From this I went on to do a degree in Fashion which I have just completed as of this week. During my time on the course I have loved to look into archival garments to use within my own work, from this the love for TV, Film, and theatre costume became what I looked at within my final project, a collaboration with the series 'Westworld'. I am super eager to learn the trade and how things work within theatre to gain experience, and work my way up in the design/production team and possibly work toward a career in TV and Film.

I have recently been made redundant from my role as Senior Visitor Experience Officer, working for The National Trust. I gained a wide variety of skills in this role as I was based at a small property where I oversaw many different departments. This has equipped me with experience of sales techniques (both for membership and retail), people management skills (both of staff and volunteers), an awareness of health and safety through my role as duty manager, and a portfolio of creative work featuring house displays, interpretation and children's trails. In these uncertain times, I am looking for opportunities in any of the areas listed above, as well as writing, proofreading and research - of which I have previous experience.
I'm a globetrotter at heart, but also a skilled, professional marketer, with a 1st class honors degree in International Tourism Management.
My degree helped me to realise that marketing was the industry for me. Over my four years at university I studied three marketing modules, creating effective and engaging digital marketing and destination marketing strategies. They all equipped me with fantastic knowledge and an abundance of skill sets. In my final year, I produced a 6000-word Destination Marketing Strategy report on the city of Miami. I worked exceptionally hard on this and I was thrilled when I received the highest grade on the module.
During my placement year, I worked at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council as a Communications and Marketing Assistant. Throughout my time at BMBC I supported officers and managers with the delivery of marketing campaigns, email marketing, and producing high-quality content for traditional and digital platforms. I also had the chance to run my own campaigns and produce weekly news articles. I also assisted in the planning of events such as the Tour de Yorkshire.
For as long as I can remember I have been hooked on the idea of travel. I love exploring cities, laying on beaches, learning about cultures, and trying new cuisines. I made it my mission to visit 22 countries before I was 22 and did exactly that!

Firstly, I have industry experience working in a small marketing team, designing and marketing for 4 major big companies including the world’s best prosthetic hand and a 5 star boutique hotel in central Leeds.
The tasks I undertake are creating content for social media, content for the websites and print work including brochures. In contrast my artwork is used for events, mail chimps (e-shots) and creating flipping books which is then put onto the websites. I had control over social media, I planned the posts in advance, as it gives me time to work on another project. In addition, I undertook admin work which includes using the phones and talking to clients or companies and reports.
In terms of marketing as a team you know what the vision is and our goals so our strategy is to fulfill that, for social media we come up with the marketing strategies but working closely with the CEO and so far we have hit and exceeded our targets.Before we put our strategy into practice, I carried out marketing research to ensure the strategies will work and any new mobile and social media strategies and updates in the apps e.g. live videos, videos in cover photos etc. I have pretty much covered it all and this is why I believe I would make a perfect addition to the team with the experience and knowledge I have which is what you are looking for in a employee but also others in the team can learn from my experience while I learn from them.
I have freshly graduated from York St John University in Design: Graphics in 2017 and would like to make the best use of the skills developed during my university study. I have a keen interest in Graphic Designing. In addition, I have also a small Graphic Design/Photography/Marketing business, to be able to use my skills too in the local community.
Over the past few years, I have become highly proficient in Adobe CS Suite on both Mac OSX and Windows. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level- and while juggling full-time study. I have recently come to the end of my internship working for the Liberal Democrats. The communications aspects of the job were what I found most interesting. I want to couple the skills I learned in that role with work in the heritage sector, an area I have a strong interest in from my love of History.
