I'm a recent History of Art graduate from the University of York with plenty of customer service and retail experience. I'm a conscientious worker and a quick learner, able to talk to people of any age and background. As an approachable and friendly face at the door or behind the scenes helping to set up, I'm able to adjust and adapt to any scenario.
With experience across the retail, hospitality and events sectors, I feel confident in delivering exceptional customer service at any shift. Visitor Operations Manager
I have recently been made redundant from my role as Senior Visitor Experience Officer, working for The National Trust. I gained a wide variety of skills in this role as I was based at a small property where I oversaw many different departments. This has equipped me with experience of sales techniques (both for membership and retail), people management skills (both of staff and volunteers), an awareness of health and safety through my role as duty manager, and a portfolio of creative work featuring house displays, interpretation and children's trails. In these uncertain times, I am looking for opportunities in any of the areas listed above, as well as writing, proofreading and research - of which I have previous experience.

Bookings Team Member -York Minster
Enthusiastic team member with a passion for York and tourism seeking to serve in a role which makes good use of communication abilities and knowledge of this fantastic city of York. Recent administrative experience at York Hospital handling on average 30 telephone queries per day from parents, schools and NHS organizations. Total of 10 years experience encompassing healthcare, telecommunications and tourism. I now seek a part time role where I can share my passion for York's cultural heritage with schools, members of the UK public and visitors from abroad.
Having lived and worked in China, Egypt and France I am comfortable working within an international context and highlighting the unique attributes of British culture. Moreover, my extensive administrative experience enables me to prioritize, work to deadlines and within budget and to shared objectives. Having studied at undergraduate level in York and now as a resident I am keenly aware of the beauty and cultural assets of this wonderful city. Recent graduate of York St John University Business School with a class I, BA International Tourism and Hospitality management. French native from the Caribbean, I can speak French, English and Japanese. I spent four months in Japan to study about the culture, language and hospitality of this beautiful archipel.
Also, I spent three wonderful years in York as a student and just fell in love with the city. I like being a tourist wherever I go to explore the local community and learn more about the history and cultures. I have been to many places in the United Kingdom as well, like Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, the Yorkshire Moors, Harrogate, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham Liverpool, London, Blackpool for a start and expect to travel more.
The world is vast and mysterious, I am excited to explore it on a culinary trip. That is my dream. I am enthusiastic about sharing my experience and take on new challenges.
