I am a creative, proactive and resourceful Producer/Director with 25 years’ experience in international broadcast television production. This includes creating TV content, launching and developing channels, directing live TV, managing budgets and mentoring talent.
I have a passion for all media, the ability to implement ideas and an efficient, flexible approach to work.
After 20 years living abroad, I returned to the UK in 2016 and I am currently based in my home town of York, working under my company name of VIDAVEO (‘I See Life’), producing Creative, Educational and Corporate films.
With considerable experience in Live, Recorded, Studio and Location productions, I am familiar with a wide spectrum of video production and I am confident working with creative teams, marketing departments and clients. I can take charge of any assignment, from taking a brief, developing an appropriate production process, right through to post-production and delivering the product in whatever format is required.
I have worked as Senior Producer for a wide range of companies, including Discovery Europe, Disney Italia and the BBC. I also worked as a freelance Producer for Sky Italia during their launch period and have independently produced programmes for Sky Vivo, Discovery Italia and Paramount Comedy Italia.
As well as being very good at managing budgets, facilities & teams, I am a creative individual and always looking for a new challenge.
I have a good knowledge of the Creative Industries within York and have been closely following the development of the Creative Industries Strategy, attending meetings, offering advice and providing my services in support of the Visibility aspect of the proposal.
