I am writing in response to your advertisement, why I think I would be ideal for the role and make an excellent addition to the team.
Firstly, I have industry experience working in a small marketing team, designing and marketing for 4 major big companies including the world’s best prosthetic hand and a 5 star boutique hotel in central Leeds.
The tasks I undertake are creating content for social media, content for the websites and print work including brochures. In contrast my artwork is used for events, mail chimps (e-shots) and creating flipping books which is then put onto the websites. I had control over social media, I planned the posts in advance, as it gives me time to work on another project. In addition, I undertook admin work which includes using the phones and talking to clients or companies and reports.
In terms of marketing as a team you know what the vision is and our goals so our strategy is to fulfill that, for social media we come up with the marketing strategies but working closely with the CEO and so far we have hit and exceeded our targets.Before we put our strategy into practice, I carried out marketing research to ensure the strategies will work and any new mobile and social media strategies and updates in the apps e.g. live videos, videos in cover photos etc. I have pretty much covered it all and this is why I believe I would make a perfect addition to the team with the experience and knowledge I have which is what you are looking for in a employee but also others in the team can learn from my experience while I learn from them.
I have freshly graduated from York St John University in Design: Graphics in 2017 and would like to make the best use of the skills developed during my university study. I have a keen interest in Graphic Designing. In addition, I have also a small Graphic Design/Photography/Marketing business, to be able to use my skills too in the local community.
Over the past few years, I have become highly proficient in Adobe CS Suite on both Mac OSX and Windows. Leisure Marketing Executive

I have just graduated in BSc (Hons) Marketing at the University of York, with a First-Class Honours (with Distinction) degree classification. During study, I have developed an in-depth understanding of marketing practices and principles, including performing competitor analysis, researching and producing reports on target markets.
During 2017, I completed a summer internship with Art and Photography magazine, Aesthetica . As part of my role, I was responsible for developing creative content, writing copy for the magazine and online blogs, and managed the Italian client database, such as museums and galleries across Italy. My ability to speak Italian fluently was a real advantage during this process. Although my mother-tongue is Italian, I am also fluent in English and I can speak basic Spanish. I had the ability to build professional relationships and work collaboratively across organisations.
As someone who is extremely determined and hard-working, I successfully handled multiple projects within Aesthetica and additionally worked part-time within two hospitality roles. In doing this, I developed excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain a high quality of work.
In addition to this, I have recently been awarded The York Management School Award for Highest Achieving Second and Final Year BSc Marketing student. I am extremely proud of this award and feel that it is testament to my commitment to Marketing.

I have recently come to the end of my internship working for the Liberal Democrats. The communications aspects of the job were what I found most interesting. I want to couple the skills I learned in that role with work in the heritage sector, an area I have a strong interest in from my love of History. I have built my career so far across a range of project management and administration as well as internal communications experience in the educational, transport, not for profit and public sectors. Most recently, I have been working in training and events for higher education teaching providers. My name is Hamish Davison. I come from Bridlington but caught the travel bug early on. After graduating I looked at my options and decided to TEFL in Spain. This was originally to learn Spanish. I met my now fiancee online while in Spain, and uprooted my life once more and moved to the Netherlands. Her plan was to do a masters for a year somewhere abroad, and so I needed to find work which I could take with me. This is how I found Upwork. I have been freelancing very successfully on Upwork for the last 2 years now. At first, I was just doing content writing, but I soon discovered Moz, and have since mastered how to create my own briefs, keywords lists, keyword strategies, content strategies, as well as implementing them. I could only stay in California, where my fiancee chose eventually, for 3 months at a time so now I find myself back at home, thirsting for some work to get my teeth stuck into. My plan is to move to York as soon as I have a position, which I have the funds for.
