I am a very outgoing, self-driven person, who is able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently. I would consider myself to be a reliable and punctual individual who uses initiative to meet and resolve challenges. Although been a quick worker, I strive to finish all my challenges to a very pleasing standard. I am keen to work in this sector of the job industry as I feel I meet the essential criteria needed to fulfill this role to a high standard. Additionally as an Army Cadet for a prolonged period of time this built up my confidence a lot, especially being with people you’ve never met and having to adapt to them and your surroundings quickly was very positive. I was often with small groups and sometimes in charge of the said small groups in the field, furthermore there was ALWAYS an emphasis on teamwork in the Army Cadet Force.
Digital Marketing - York Council (July 2017-July 2017)
I did roughly one week of work experience in the Digital Marketing sector at the City of York Council. I gained an uncountable amount of new skills whilst working in this sector which has given me more confidence with my communication skills. I completed a numerous amount of tasks here including the creation of posters to present to local businesses/households and general office duties which includes photocopying, laminating and admin tasks. I communicated personally with businesses regarding upcoming changes in the local area, which improved my confidence massively.
Graphics Designer - York Council (July 2017-July 2017) (I'M NOT VERY GOOD)
I did roughly two weeks work in the graphics area of City of York Council. Whilst working in this department, it was extremely fast paced which taught me to be punctual and always work efficiently to meet the Councils targets. I also obtained excellent knowledge on how to operate an Apple Mac PC and gained great skills from an experienced graphics designer. One significant accomplishment was designing posters for a youth survey on childcare which demonstrated that I am able to work as an individual as well as part of a team.

London North Eastern Railway (Christmas Seasonal)
Working at London North Eastern Railway was great. The job role really made sure you had to let your true self out, that been if a customer needed help lifting luggage onto the train or need help transferring between one train to another. The communication skills I had were minimal before I worked here at LNER, the skills gained are ones I can adapt onto forever. Communication is vital in the workplace (any job) and being ready to take on any challenge was a key feature of this job role.
