Job Description

**Immediate Start** - Permanent – Full Time

Salary: £21,000 per annum plus £1500 sales bonus. Profit share available after 12 months.

Working pattern of 43 hours per week, no evening work required.

Sales and Marketing combined with Reception sales.

  • A social-media savvy individual with a good understanding of the various channels of social media, such as, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked-In and TikTok.
  • A creative approach for innovative sales & marketing campaigns, thinking outside the box, with the support of our wider sales team.
  • You will have admirable writing skills to produce written content for posts on social media, blogs and websites.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently with customers to turn enquiries into sales for the lodges.
  • Ensuring all guests receive a warm welcome and customer service standards are maintained for a smooth “check-in” of guests at reception.
  • Pro-actively identify customers’ needs and deal with any customer requests in a timely manner and exceed their expectations.
  • Support in developing our reception & reservation systems.

What we’re looking for.

  • Experience with social media marketing (1 year)
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Great communication skills for providing excellent customer relations.
  • Own transport & driving license essential due to our location.
  • Eligible to work in the UK

About us

Griffon Forest is a well-established family run business with our 55 Griffon Lodges complex also connected to Sandburn. We are surrounded by beautiful lakes and woodland, located at Flaxton, just off the A64, approx. 8 miles from York.

Our new 40-bed hotel opened in May 2021 adding to the business which has an 18-hole golf course, Sports Bar, Tykes restaurant & 3 function rooms.
