This is a 6 month opportunity open to 18 to 24 year olds who are out of work and claiming Universal Credit. As part of the selection process you will need to be confirmed eligible by your Job Centre Work Coach. Unfortunately it is not possible to consider candidates for this role who don’t meet this criteria.
This Kickstarter role provides work experience in communications, time management and working as part of a small team, as well as future employability support. The Kickstarter Membership and Fundraising Assistant will gain experience in charity fundraising and working in a creative, theatre environment.
Main function of the role:
To work with the Development Officer in providing fundraising support for all productions, events and activities.
To support the promotion and administration of York Theatre Royal's Membership scheme
To assist with the creation of content for digital channels
To provide administrative support for the department
Contract: 6 month fixed term contract. 18th May to 17th November 2021
Working hours: 25 hours a week
Hourly rate: National Minimum Wage
Location: This role requires the young person to work from home, with 2 on site days per month at York Theatre Royal for meetings and events
