Job Description

The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) is offering a superb opportunity for an experienced finance clerk who would like to enjoy their professional career within an arts organisation. 

We are creating the part-time role of Finance Assistant reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations. The successful applicant will fill a key role contributing to the day to day smooth financial management of the NCEM and be a key part of the delivery of our broad range of activities.  You will be involved in a wide range of the NCEM’s operations including corporate hire, wedding receptions, music events and education projects. The role will also involve supporting the Box Office Manager with the operation of the Box Office system, for which we will offer full training.  

The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, and we invite applicants to propose their preferred working pattern.  The salary is in the range of £20,000 to £22,000 per annum dependent upon experience (pro-rata for 20 hours is  £10,667pa - £11,733pa).
